Welcome to ML Hacks!

Register using this link to officially sign up for the hackathon, and make sure to join our Discord as well to keep up with the latest updates.

Any high schooler who identifies as female or nonbinary is welcome to compete—no prior experience is required. We encourage first-time coders, designers, and innovators to join us!

Disclaimer: This hackathon is based within the US, and we may not be able to ship prizes or swag internationally, but otherwise there are no location restrictions.

Requirements

All submitted projects must fall within at least one of our 3 tracks: Machine Learning, Beginner (teams composed entirely of first-time coders), or Social Good.

Competitors must work in a team of 1-3 members and submit a demo video (maximum length 3 minutes) explaining/demonstrating their project to the judges and public viewers, along with a working prototype of the project if possible.

We also require all project submissions to include documentation of all code and assets to ensure that the project was completed within hackathon hours. This may be in the form of a Github link, Repl.it link, Google Doc etc. If you're using Github or something similar, make sure to commit periodically while you're working on the project (around once an hour).
